Creighton Prep rolls past Lincoln East to claim District Title

OMAHA - Creighton Prep claimed its first district title in 13 years, and the Jr. Jays did it in dominant fashion.

Hosting No. 9 Lincoln East on Friday, Prep used power rushing, dominant defense and big special teams plays to jump out to a 28-0 lead with just under 10 minutes to go in the second quarter.

The Junior Jays went on to win 52-7 with East's Noah Walters connecting with Cooper Erikson on the final play of the game, allowing the Spartans to avoid the shutout.

Jack Stessman led the way for Prep with 182 yards and four TDs on 20 carries.
