Local bridal boutique moves to new venue, aims to be unique

NORFOLK, Neb. -A local bridal shop is working to set itself apart in northeast Nebraska.

Avenue Bridal in Norfolk opened up Friday at its new location.

Owner Cassandra Widner moved venues after almost nine years just down the road.

"We really have to dig in, coming back to your roots," said Widner. "What kind of experience, what kind of customer service, can you provide that makes you stand out from the others."

With three other wedding shops in town, Widner hopes to give customers a unique experience.

She said the brick walls and black chandeliers provide an atmosphere of "moody romance."
