Nebraska Community College Association names new director

BEATRICE – A rural Lincoln native has been named the new Executive Director of the Nebraska Community College Association.
Courtney Wittstruck will take over for former State Legislator and Speaker of the Legislature, Greg Adams, who is retiring at the end of this year.
Wittstruck has been the Plant Manager for Continental Tire and Rubber Company’s industrial belt facility in Lincoln, since 2017. She supervised over 400 employees along with plant activities. Before that, she worked as Production Manager at Eaton Corporation’s vehicle division plant, in Kearney.
Wittstruck said she is passionate about the mission of community colleges and the vital role they serve in communities. She graduated from Clemson University where she was on a full basketball scholarship, earned a masters degree from The Citadel….and a law degree from Charleston, South Carolina School of Law.
The Lincoln Southeast High School Graduate was named the Gatorade Nebraska Player of the Year in her senior year….and is a member of the school’s hall of fame.
The Nebraska Community College Association is a lobbying organization made up of Central Community College, Mid-Plains Community College, Northeast Community College, Southeast Community College, and Western Nebraska Community College.
