Omaha Police arrested a man after another man was found shot to death.

Omaha Police say the shooting happened around 7:30 AM Thursday morning near 61st and Pratt Streets.

They say 37-year-old Christopher Gradoville was found dead in the yard with multiple gunshot wounds.

Gradoville was the Director of Operations of The Creighton University Baseball Program.

Police also say they had a suspect in custody. 43-year-old Ladell Thornton is charged with first-degree murder and weapons charges.

The investigation is ongoing.
