North Platte Police identify woman found dead in home last weekend

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. -- North Plate Police have identified the woman found dead inside a home last weekend.

Police identified the woman as 23-year-old Gabrielle Jurgensen.

Authorities say officers responded to North Jackson Avenue in reference to a death. On arrival, officers found a woman dead inside the home.

Police say it's not yet determined whether the death is suspicious, but that it is being treated as such until the investigation is over.

North Platte PD said Friday that the investigation is ongoing and that the department is awaiting autopsy results.
