OMAHA/VALLEY-A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for portions of River County  

The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Johnson County in southeastern Nebraska...
Western Nemaha County in southeastern Nebraska...
Otoe County in southeastern Nebraska...
Pawnee County in southeastern Nebraska...

* Until 1215 AM CDT.

* At 1109 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 2 miles northwest of Palmyra to 3 miles northwest of
Beatrice, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
Palmyra around 1115 PM CDT.
Unadilla around 1125 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Syracuse, Crab Orchard, Dunbar, Lewiston, Lorton, Burchard, Pawnee
City, Table Rock and Elk Creek.
