Aquaventure opening is huge success

NORFOLK -- The City of Norfolk opened its water park this past weekend. 

Aquatics Manager PJ Evans said they've had a massive rush of visitors, likely due to being cooped up this last year during the pandemic. 

While the nation sees a shortage of lifeguards, their park has been unaffected and they are not hiring at a time when most businesses are desperate to hire. 

She is so excited she said they may even plan a Christmas in July.
