Trevon Riles Signs with Peru State Football

Peru State football coach Casey Creehan recently announced that Trevon Riles (Tallahassee, Fla.) signed his national letter of intent to join the Bobcats this fall.

(Peru, Neb.) – Peru State football coach Casey Creehan recently announced that Trevon Riles (Tallahassee, Fla.) signed his national letter of intent to join the Bobcats this fall.

The 6'0, 210 pound linebacker, averaging 16 tackles a game for the Rickard Raiders and had a very standout high school career. Riles and his Rickards' teammates played in the Florida 5A State Championship.
 
Prior to the state championship game, Riles had racked up an impressive 164 tackles (92 solo) with seven tackles for loss. He also had six sacks as well as an interception, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble.
 
Riles was awarded the Mickey Andrews Defensive Player of the Year, was a two-time First Team All-State Linebacker, and was the 4 quarters Defensive Player of the Year.
 
Riles is expected to play linebacker for the Bobcats as well as major in accounting with a minor in marketing. In addition to a football scholarship, Riles will be receiving the Deans award.
