Car, van collide near mall in north Beatrice
Accident around 6:30 p.m. sends fire and police to scene
BEATRICE – A two-vehicle collision happened at the entrance to the Indian Creek Mall in north Beatrice early Tuesday night.
Beatrice Fire and Rescue and Police responded to the collision along U.S. Highway 77, which happened at about six-thirty p.m.
The accident occurred in the southbound lanes of the highway, which is divided by a median at that location. It involved a car and a minivan. There was no immediate word on the identities of those involved. A Beatrice Fire and Rescue spokesman says no one was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
One rescue vehicle and a fire truck were sent to the scene.
Traffic was able to continue moving on the northbound lanes as officials investigated the accident.
