Scottsbluff soccer teams earn wins over Torrington

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - The Scottsbluff boys and girls soccer teams taking on Wyoming foes Torrington Tuesday.

The boys contest saw Scottsbluff earn a 1-0 win over Torrington. Both teams got strong goal keeping from start to finish from Aidyn Saucedo (Torrington) and Placido Rodriguez (Scottsbluff).

With the game scoreless through halftime it was Aaron Schaff breaking the tie in the second half to give the Bearcats the win. Scottsbluff boys improve to 6-3 on the season.

The Scottsbluff girls used strong offense to move to 6-3 on the season as they earned a 12-1 road win over Torrington.

Both Bearcat teams return to action April 20 against Douglas.
