SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Western Nebraska Community College (WNCC) is looking to upgrade its classrooms for a better experience for students and staff.

WNCC said this will be a two phase project through the summers of 2021 and 2022. Phase 1 will renovate the B and C Pod offices and Phase 2 renovates the A Pod. They will makeover the pit where students study and hangout. Furniture will get an update and the purpose is to make the classrooms similar.

“We want to stay relevant we want to be cutting edge in the education opportunities that we offer to our students,” said Nancy Hall Administrative Management Director WNCC. That is important to us and part of that is offering spaces that meet the needs of the modern teaching style that is in place with so much technology needed.”

The WNCC Board of Governors will make the final approval at their board meeting in April.
