Grand Island man sentenced for threatening to burn house
43-year-old Jason Lemburg was sentenced last month to two years in prison.
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- A Grand Island man is in prison after threatening to burn down a house his daughter was in.
43-year-old Jason Lemburg was sentenced last month to two years in prison.
The incident happened last year when Grand Island Police say Lemburg wanted to get his 20-year-old daughter out of the house.
When she wouldn't leave, and other in the home wouldn't cooperate with him, he threatened to burn the house and kill them.
When police arrived, they said they could smell gasoline and found Lemburg with gas-soaked paper towels and a blow torch.
According to prison records, with good time, Lemburg is due to be released later this year.
