North Bend Central rallies late for their second straight title

The Tigers came back from eleven down to beat Hastings St. Cecilia 51-49

LINCOLN - Class C1 #5 North Bend Central rallied from eleven down to win their second straight state championship on Saturday.

Despite getting out-scored in the paint 40-14 for the game, the Tigers outscored Hastings St. Cecilia 19-6 in the fourth quarter to win, 51-49.

The win was clinched with two late free throws by Sydney Emanuel, who was 12-for-12 from the FT line for the game.

St. Cecilia was trying to win their third straight state championship, after winning in C2 each of the last two years.
