SEWARD, Neb. -- About $50,000 worth of methamphetamine was found on I-80 during a traffic stop this week.

On Monday afternoon, a deputy with the Seward County Sheriff's Office pulled over a car along the interstate.

Authorities say the deputy became suspicious that the 33-year-old driver from Utah, Javier Delgado, and his passenger were involved in criminal activity.

Four 1 lb. packages of meth with a street value of $50,000 and a large amount of cash were found stashed in the car.

Delgado was arrested on several drug charges.
