Three Bridgeport wrestlers earned medals Saturday at the Class C Nebraska School Activities Association State Wrestling Championships at the CHI Health Center in Omaha.

Damien Bell pinned Wilber-Clatonia's Tommy Lokken in 52 seconds to win fifth place at 138 pounds. Bell's victory snapped a two-match losing streak after advancing to the semifinals on Friday. He started Saturday with losses to Hunter Vandenberg (Aquinas Catholic) and Logan Burt (Tekamah-Herman)
Trevor Widener avenged a loss to North Bend Central's Ethan Mullally in the 152-pound fifth place match. On Friday, Mullally defeated Widener in the quarterfinals, 5-4, in overtime. Saturday's rematch also went into overtime, with Widener prevailing, 7-5.
After finishing 2-0 on Friday and advancing to the 160-pound semifinals, Steven Menke went 0-3 on Saturday to finish in sixth place. Ravenna's Payton Reisbeck pinned Menke in 1:00 in the fifth place match.
