The Long Pine man who pleaded no contest to manslaughter has been sentenced to prison.
28-year-old Nathan Yankowski appeared for sentencing in Brown County District Court on Tuesday after he entered a plea deal in December 2020.
He was sentenced to 18 to 30 years in prison on a weapons charge and 15 to 20 years for manslaughter.
According to court documents, Yankowski admitted to accidentally shooting 18-year-old Logan Maring of Merna in 2019 after playing around with a gun.
