Sasse fires back at censure crowd

Sen. Ben Sasse is firing back at his fellow Nebraska Republicans who want him censured.

As NCN first reported, a move is underway to have the GOP's State Central Committee slap Sasse down for claiming that now former President Trump is at least partly to blame for the riot at the US Capitol.

Sasse blasted those who in his words "bend the knee" to Trump.

That meeting of the Nebraska State Central Committee is a week from tomorrow in Columbus.

In his five minute statement, Sasse noted that in 2020 he got more votes in Nebraska than Trump.
