OMAHA, Neb. -- A Council Bluffs man is getting prison time for having a Molotov cocktail during Black Lives Matter protests last summer.
25-year-old Steven Fitch was sentenced Wednesday to 30 months in prison for unlawful possession of a destructive device.
Authorities say in May, Fitch was participating in protests in and around downtown Omaha. Officers say they found a Molotov cocktail in his pants, along with several lighters.
