Some chaotic conditions are coming to Nebraska - starting tonight.

The National Weather Service is issuing a blizzard warning, beginning midnight tonight, for portions of east-central and northeast Nebraska.

Snow has already begun to fall in parts of the state, and is expected to increase in intensity overnight.

The NWS is warning of Difficult or impossible travel due to near-zero visibility and snow-covered roads.

There is currently a high-wind advisory set for Platte Valley and Northeast regions, with gusts up to 60 miles per hour.

Both wind and blizzard warnings are set to expire 6 PM Friday.
