NORTH PLATTE, Neb. -- The city of North Platte has moved onto the next phase of COVID-19 vaccinations. That means anyone 75 or older can now get inoculated against the coronavirus.

North Platte High School hosted a vaccination event on Saturday. Residents showed up early and had to wait in the cold while volunteers inside administered the vaccines.

KNOP reported that some had to wait longer to get their vaccines because they weren't able to get upstairs where some of the vaccines were being distributed.
