The Las Vegas Raiders are missing out on the playoffs again but they can avoid an eighth losing season in the last nine years with a victory at Denver on Sunday.

The Raiders have dropped their last nine season finales and four of those losses have come against the Broncos.

Denver is 5-10 and that's a fourth consecutive losing season and fifth straight year without a playoff berth. The Broncos are the only team ever to miss the playoffs for five years following a Super Bowl title.

Witten says Parcells told him to be reliable, dependable and consistent.

Witten has taken that advice to heart for nearly two decades and is set to break Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez's career record for games played by a tight end with his 271st when the Raiders end their season at Denver.
