One person is injured after what authorities say is an accidental shooting in Norfolk Thursday evening.

NORFOLK - One person is in the hospital after what authorities say is an accidental shooting in Norfolk.

The incident was reported around 5:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of Maurer Drive in Norfolk Thursday evening.

The Nebraska State Patrol says the shooting appears to be accidental.

The victim was taken to Faith Regional Health Services with non-life injuries.
