BEATRICE – The Beatrice City Council will have two new members, as of early December.

Ward Three veteran incumbent Rich Kerr fared better, holding off a challenge from Caleb Sabatka, 517 to 410.
Gary Barnard won a Fourth Ward Beatrice City Council position in a race that featured two new candidates seeking the seat now held by David “Pede” Catlin, who chose not to seek a new term.
