Accident at State Farm Road and Highway 83

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) -A tanker truck and a small passenger car collided around 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the Intersection of State Farm Road and Highway 83.

Officers on scene telling News 2 a car coming from east State Farm Road, turning left onto Highway 83 was struck by the tanker.

So far News 2 is reporting one person from the passenger car has been transported to Great Plains Health with severe injuries. The truck driver is not injured.

As of 11:34 a.m. traffic is moving on Highway 83.
