The North Platte Police Department is investigating the death of a 2-month-old child.

NORTH PLATTE - Authorities in Central Nebraska are investigating the death of an infant.
The North Platte Police Department responded to an apartment in the 1100 block of south Tabor on Thursday around 12:57 PM in reference to an unresponsive 2-month-old child.
Officers arrived simultaneously with EMS.
The child was transported to Great Plains Health where it was pronounced dead at approximately 1:34 PM.
This incident is under active investigation due to suspicious circumstances.
