Fire Destroys Norfolk Shed
The fire was reported around 11:30 a.m. on Sherwood Road in Norfolk
UPDATE - At 11:36 a.m. on Monday, the Norfolk Fire Division was dispatched to 701 Sherwood Road for a shed on fire.
First Arriving units saw heavy smoke and flames from the exterior of the structure.
Initial crews encountered moderate smoke and flames from the exterior of the structure.
It took around 11 firefighters and four rigs about 10 minutes to control the fire and another hour to overhaul the structure.
The cause of the fire was from a probable lightning strike.
The Norfolk Fire Division was assisted by NPPD, Stanton Fire, Madison Fire, Madison County Sheriff's Office, and Black Hills Energy
No injuries were reported.

NORFOLK - A Norfolk shed is in ruins after a Monday morning fire.
Norfolk Fire crews responded to reports of the fire at a home on Sherwood Road in Norfolk around 11:30 a.m.
Video from the scene shows a destroyed structure engulfed in smoke.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
