North Platte Man Arrested For Stalking, Weapons Violations
A North Platte man is in jail after being arrested on a stalking warrant and numerous weapons violations.

NORTH PLATTE - A North Platte man is in jail on charges of stalking and numerous weapons violations.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office says that deputies received information that a person with a warrant for his arrest was in the area of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in North Platte on Tuesday morning.
Deputies responded and arrested 46-year-old Eugene Richter of North Platte on an arrest warrant for Stalking.
Authorities say during a search, deputies found a concealed 9mm pistol and several magazines.
LCSO says Richter was in the church at the time of his arrest.
He did not have an active concealed carry permit and has an active protection order against him, which prohibits him from having a firearm.
Richter was taken to the Lincoln County Detention Center and incarcerated on charges of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon in a Prohibited Place, Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person, and Possession of a Firearm during a Felony.
Authorities say deputies got information that Richter may have more firearms and weapons at his home.
Deputies executed the search warrant and found numerous firearms and concealed weapons at Richter’s home and vehicles.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges will follow.
