SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - A multi-state vehicle pursuit that started in Mitchell with a deputy attempting to pull a vehicle over ends in an arrest in Wyoming.

Just after 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6th, Steven Willis allegedly sped away from police at nearly 100 miles per hour. Scottsbluff police took over the chase as it headed into their jurisdiction and then headed north toward Wyoming.

Officers made multiple attempts to deploy spike strips, and just past the Wyoming border they reportedly worked, causing Willis' vehicle to come to a stop. Willis was reportedly arrested in Goshen County with suspected heroin, meth and prescription pills as well as a large amount of money.

Nebraska charges are pending and a warrant will be requested.

Steven Willis was reportedly wanted on a Colorado felony warrant for parole violations.
