LINCOLN - The Big Ten has ignored a group of University of Nebraska parents' plea for transparency regarding the conference's decision to postpone the fall football season.
A letter sent Friday by attorney Mike Flood, on behalf of the parents, called on the Big Ten to handover all documents and media related to how the voting process occurred by noon on Monday.
According to a statement issued by Flood on Monday, the Big Ten hasn't made any attempt to communicate.
"Regrettably, our office has not received any communication nor even a phone call from Commissioner Warren or the Big Ten Conference responsive to our legitimate requests for information..." the statement reads.
Flood said in the statement that he will meet with the parents and their sons to decide on how to proceed.
"It is frustrating to me that the student athletes must--on their own dime--pay to educate professional adults about basic transparency and fairness," the statement concluded.
