Doctors testify about murder suspect's competency to stand trial
Attorneys now have some new information regarding the mental health of Rodolfo Castaneda-Morejon, accused of stabbing his neighbor to death in 2017.

Attorneys now have some new information regarding the mental health of the suspect in a 2017 stabbing case that still hasn't gone to trial.
Psychiatrists working with Rodolfo Castaneda-Morejon testified in Madison County District Court Thursday about his competency to stand trial.
Doctors say when they ask Morejon about how he will testify, his testimony is delusional and irrational. They say Morejon speaks about a global conspiracy, including his former coworkers at a food plant and other people in Norfolk.
Doctors say he also thinks Lincoln Regional facility staff are attaching electrodes to his body in an effort to turn him homosexual.
Prosecution and defense attorneys will be providing briefs regarding the case and whether Morejon is competent to stand trial.. From there, the judge will decide if Morejon is competent, incompetent, or if further treatment is necessary to decide.
Morejon is being accused of stabbing his neighbor Yosvanis Velazquez Gomez to death at an apartment complex in Norfolk.
