Man arrested for stabbing near 41st Street and Colfax Avenue

LINCOLN - Lincoln Police have arrested a 21-year-old man following a stabbing near 41st Street and Colfax Avenue on Saturday.

The incident took place at around 3 p.m.

LPD said the victim and a friend tried to take Keagan Webber’s girlfriend to safety because they believed Webber was assaulting her.

The woman did not want to go with the two people, and Webber eventually located them near Colfax Avenue.

He then assaulted the 40-year-old victim with a knife, cutting him multiple times in the back and neck. The victim’s friend was also assaulted.

Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Webber was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
