SIDNEY - Sidney starting pitcher Sawyer Dickman didn't allow a hit in four innings and the Sidney Junior Legion Baseball team advanced to the championship game of the inaugural Tyson Herrera Memorial Tournament with an 11-3 victory over Bridgeport Friday night at Legion Field in Sidney.

Dickman finished with six strikeouts and allowed two runs, one earned.

Sidney tore up the base paths. They finished nine total steals and three players - Paul Houser, Cam Leeling and Austin Wolfe - stole at least two bases.

Houser and Tommy Ellwanger each drove-in a pair of runs.

Dawson Kriha gave up 11 runs on 4 hits over two and two-thirds innings in the loss. He struck out three.

Larry Lofton and Alex Barnette had the lone hits for the Bombers.

Sidney improves to 5-0 and will play the winner of Pool B (Sterling, Buckley - Black, Hershland or Thunderhawk) in the tournament championship game on Sunday at 4:15 p.m. The game will air live on 98.7 FM and newschannelnebraska.com.

Bridgeport (1-4) will play for fifth place at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday.
