Nebraska DOT announces road construction near Lake McConaughy

OGALLALA, NE — The Nebraska Department of Transportation announced Thursday that road work will begin near Lake McConaughy next week.

In a news release the NDOT says work will begin on Recreation Road 51 on the north side of the lake starting June 10. 

The work will take place between the N-92/Sandy Beach junction and Martin Bay. Traffic will be maintained using lane closures with a pilot car and flaggers. The project's completion is anticipated for August 2020. 

Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near construction zomes.
