Mass testing events set for next week in Neligh and Valentine
The Nebraska National Guard will be in northern Nebraska next week to help test residents for COVID-19.
By News Channel NebraskaNELIGH, NE — The Nebraska National Guard will be in northern Nebraska next week to help test residents for COVID-19.
The North Central District Health Department announced Friday that it is partnering with the Guard to offer mass testing events in Neligh and Valentine. The Neligh event is on Tuesday from 10-1:00 at the Antelope County Fairgrounds. The Valentine event is on Wednesday from 10-12:30 at the Valentine Elementary School Parking Lot.
The Health Department says testing is open to the public but people must register online in advance. There is capacity for 150 tests in Neligh and 125 in Valentine.
The tests are free and will be conducted in a drive-thru style.
