By News Channel NebraskaGERING - Hiway 92 Raceway continues to aim towards a summer start.
The raceway in Gering looking for a first weekend in June start to the season.
Officials are taking the advisement from Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts and health experts.
When the season does start they want the fans to return as well. In the meantime race fans can be a part of a virtual car show on the Raceway's Facebook page by just sending in photos of their cars.
