Fatality Accident in Dodge County

DODGE  COUNTY - One person is dead after a two car accident in Dodge County Thursday morning.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office says that deputies responded to the accident on Highway 30 near County Road 3 around 5 a.m.

Authorities say that a semi-truck collided with a car driven by 54-year-old Domingo Gonzalez of Schuyler.

As a result, authorities say Domingo Gonzalez and his wife, were ejected from the car.

Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene and his wife was taken a Lincoln hospital by an air ambulance service.

They say neither Gonzalez or his wife were restrained in the vehicle.

The accident remains under investigation.
