LA VISTA - A Dollar Tree in La Vista has been cited by OSHA after officials found numerous violations at the business.

According to a report released Wednesday by OSHA, the store was fined for exit, storage, compressed gas and walking working surface hazards at the La Vista store.

The national discount retailer faces close to $540,000 in penalties.

OSHA alleges the company exposed employees to fire hazards from obstructed exit routes, struck-by hazards caused by unstable stacks of merchandise, and walking hazards resulting from poor housekeeping.

Other alleged violations include improper storage of compressed gas cylinders, lack of personal protective equipment and unsafe ladder use.
