Enjoy Easter Service From Your Vehicle

St. John Lutheran Church of Beatrice is organizing a community Easter service this Sunday at the Gage County Fairgrounds. Pastor Ernesto Medina says the drive-in theater church service will conform to social distancing guidelines….
“You come in your car…you can even come in your pajamas. You can even bring a nice little breakfast if you want something to eat. The you will tune into the radio station and it will be wonderful”.
Pastor Ernesto says those attending will not be allowed to get out of their vehicle. Everyone will be required to stay in their cars. Restroom facilities will not be available. The 9 A-M service will include music, scripture and a special Easter message…
“Kathy Forest who is Pastor at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Beatrice will be leading us in worship and I and excited about getting to preach from about 20 to 25 feet up in the air in a bucket lift.”
Pastor Ernesto says during the Covid-19 pandemic, it is important that everyone come together and be a community.
The drive-in church service isn’t new to the members of St. Johns in Beatrice. For the past several weeks the church’s late Sunday morning service has been conducted in the parking lot of the church.
Again, the Easter service this Sunday starts at 9 A-M at the Gage County fairgrounds.
