KIMBALL, NE - Panhandle Public Health announced Thursday afternoon that two more people in the area have recovered from COVID-19.

Two of the 10 cases in Kimball County are now considered recovered and are out of isolation, according to Scotts Bluff County Health Department Director Paulette Schnell.

The announcement came during Panhandle Health Unified Command's online update.

This is in addition to three Scotts Bluff County recoveries announced earlier this week.

The Panhandle has had 21 total confirmed cases of COVID-19. 16 are still active and three are hospitalized.

Over 330 people in the Panhandle have been tested since March 2nd. The Nebraska National Guard was in Kimball County Thursday to help test 47 first responders and health care workers. 

No new cases were announced during the webinar update.
