Columbus schools to remain closed through April 30
Columbus Public School Buildings will remain closed, and we will begin extended learning on March 30th through April 30th.
News release:
At the recommendation of East Central District Health Department (ECDHD), Columbus Public School Buildings will remain closed, and we will begin extended learning on March 30th through April 30th. We do not take this decision lightly. However, our priority is the safety of our students, staff, and in this case the greater community. We plan to reassess the situation on April 16th prior to making any decisions beyond April 30th. We hope to be back in session May 1st, but please know that there is a possibility that we will continue with extended learning until the end of the year.
