Beatrice School District 15 closing buildings for the remainder of March

BEATRICE - Beatrice Public Schools will be closing its doors until March 31st An emergency meeting of the Beatrice Board of Education was held yesterday on the action, taken in the wake of the coronavirus and COVID-19 potential.
On the basis of the current information released by the CDC, Beatrice Public Schools will close and await further directives from the state. Buildings will be open for designated times on Tuesday, (today) for students and parents to pick up supplies and materials to ensure learning opportunities continue.
The time frame for parents to pick up supplies and materials include....
Preschool 7:45 - 9 AM
Elementary
Students with last names starting with A-K: 9- 10 AM
Last names L-Z: 10:15- 11:15 AM
Middle School: 9 AM- 12 PM
High School: 8:30 AM- 2 PM
Parents are asked to contact the building directly if unable to make it during the times posted by the district.
