LINCOLN - #4 Lincoln Pius X dominated on both ends of the court to take down #1 Millard South 71-46.
The Thunderbolts were leading 21-7 after one quarter, and they had no intention of slowing down... carrying a huge 35-12 lead into halftime.
Millard South made a little push during the third quarter, but Jillian Aschoff and Alexis Markowski were too much for the Patriots defense. Aschoff was good for 17 points and a number of assists, while Markowski poured in a game high 32 points and owned the boards.
A high scoring second half from both sides ended with Pius winning by 25 points, 71-46.
