Broncos seek to catch up to Chiefs by airing it out in 2020

Denver Broncos coach Vic Fangio figures the best way to catch the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs is with their own game.

Fangio says he wants the Broncos to be more aggressive and take more shots down the field in 2020.

That's what new offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur aims to do as he takes over the play calling duties following the firing of Rich Scangarello.

The Broncos averaged fewer than 18 points a game last season. The Chiefs averaged almost 30 points a game.
