Digital Citizenship and Safety Presentation

NORFOLK - Norfolk Public Schools will be teaching students and the public about how to be safe online in a presentation on Tuesday.

NPS has invited school attorney Karen Haase to present “Digital Citizenship and Safety” during the school day on January 21st to NPS students, grades 5 through 12.

Haase will also hold a public presentation at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

During her presentation, Haase will discuss legal issues related to students' use of social media.

Using humor, statistics, and summaries of real-life cases, she will explain the consequences attached to the inappropriate use of social media.
