Authorities arrest wanted man in north Lincoln

Lincoln Police, with help from the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested a man wanted in connection with a shots fired incident last November.

LINCOLN - Lincoln Police, with help from the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested a man wanted in connection with a shots fired incident last November.

LPD says that 29-year-old Daniel Davis was arrested after a traffic stop around 1 a.m. Friday near I-80 and 27th Street.

He was wanted by Lincoln Police in relation to a November incident in Lincoln near 3rd and D Streets. Officers found shell casings, but nothing else.

A witness was able to identify Davis, as police also found video of the incident from the area.

Friday morning officers identified David and the vehicle and took him into custody.

He was arrested for discharge of a firearm within city limits, disturbing the peace, and possession of a controlled substance.
