OMAHA - An Omaha man has been sentenced to close to 4 years in prison after his arrest in a sex trafficking sting.

U.S. Attorney Joe Kelly announced that 73-year-old Larry Harris of Omaha was sentenced to 46 months in federal prison on Wednesday.

Harris will also begin 5 years of supervised release on his release from prison.

Authorities say in April, the FBI conducted sex trafficking interdiction work in Omaha.

Harris responded to an online ad for escort services which was posted by law enforcement.

Undercover officers posed as a 15-year-old girl through text conversations.

Harris, through text, asked for the address of the girl with the intent to engage in sexual activity.

He was arrested the same day at that address in Omaha.
