NSP launches Thanksgiving “Click It or Ticket” campaign

The Nebraska State Patrol will be working with dozens of other law enforcement agencies throughout the state to keep roads safe over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

NEBRASKA - The Nebraska State Patrol will be working with dozens of other law enforcement agencies throughout the state to keep roads safe over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

According to a news release from the NSP, troopers will be working overtime from Wednesday through Sunday as part of the annual “Click It or Ticket” campaign.

Travelers are encouraged to follow traffic safety laws, avoid distracted driving, have a sober driver, and always wear a seat belt.

Drivers should also check road conditions before traveling by using Nebraska’s 511 system.
