Snow Totals: parts of Nebraska see more than 3 inches
CHADRON, NE -- Snow blankets much of the state after a roller coaster of November temperatures continues in Nebraska.
Springview in north central Nebraska leads the state with four inches of overnight snow according to reports given to the National Weather Service. Chadron, Harrisburg and Lisco all reported around three inches in the panhandle. In eastern Nebraska, Norfolk reports just under three inches of snow and the Omaha metro is seeing an inch or two.
Most of the state was in a winter weather advisory overnight. Many communities in northern Nebraska experienced below zero wind chills overnight.
Some parts of the state registered temperatures in the 70s just two days ago.
