Rural Address Sign Project in Madison County
The Madison County Commissioners approved a resolution authorizing the placement of address signs throughout the county in order to better assist public safety and rescue personnel.

MADISON COUNTY - The Madison County Commissioners approved a resolution authorizing the placement of address signs throughout the county in order to better assist public safety and rescue personnel.
In a news release from the City of Norfolk, officials say the project will create uniformed and consistent signage that emergency responders can easily locate addresses in the event of an emergency.
In the coming weeks, Madison County employees and area firefighters will begin placing address signs throughout the county.
This project is expected to run through next summer.
Madison County officials and Rural Fire District Boards are asking for the cooperation of county residents as the project moves forward.
