Upcoming Roadside Maintenance on 25th Street

NORFOLK - City of Norfolk street crews will begin on maintenance on 25th Street north of Benjamin Avenue next week.

According to a news release, the crews will be grading the terrace in an effort to improve drainage in the area.

This involves removing the buildup of dirt and sod near the street edge that's preventing drainage into the ditch.

Officials say the terrace grading will take around two weeks to complete.

Street repairs will also be made during this time including replacing the concrete panels over a culvert near Fairview Drive.

Depending on weather, work will take two to three weeks to complete.
